Today we will visit St. Peter’s Basilica, perhaps the largest church in Christianity. St. Peter’s is traditionally the burial site of St. Peter and the principal church of the Pope. We will also visit the tomb of Pope John Paul II. |

Attend the Canonization of Blessed Andrè Bessette, Mary Mackillop, and other four new saints. In the afternoon we will visit other churches in Rome. |

| Mon | Oct 18 |
This morning we will leave Rome and travel to Assisi where we will visit the beautiful Basilica of San Francesco. The lower church contains the remains of St. Francis. After our visit we will travel to Padua for dinner and overnight. |

| Tues | Oct 19 | Today we will visit the Basilica of St. Anthony. You will have the opportunity to pray at his tomb and visit The Treasury Chapel where you may admire the Saint’s uncorrupted tongue, his jawbone and other relics recovered during the recognition of his mortal remains. After our visit we will travel to Vienna through the beautiful Austrian Alps. Dinner and overnight | |||
| Wed | Oct 20 | This morning we will travel to Krakow, Poland to the Shrine of the Divine Mercy. On the way we will visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. See the Basilica where he was baptized and the family’s apartment, now a museum. | |||
| Thurs | Oct 21 | Today you will have the opportunity to visit the Divine Mercy Basilica. You will have time to visit the chapel which houses St. Faustina’s remains; walk the lovely grounds around the convent or spend some time in the Basilica or the Adoration Chapel. The 3:00 pm Hour of Mercy is celebrated at the chapel each day with the nuns. Dinner and overnight | |||
| Fri | Oct 22 | Today you may want to stay at the Divine Mercy Shrine or go to downtown Krakow. There are many beautiful places to see in Krakow including Wawel Royal Castle and Wawel Cathedral. You can also visit Old Town Krakow for shopping or to eat. You can take a taxi to any of these places for a reasonable price. | |||
| Sat | Oct 23 | After breakfast we will leave for Jasna Gora, the shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. We will have Holy Mass at the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa. This chapel has been visited by many Popes including John Paul II and Benedict the XVI. It has also been visited by St. Faustina and St. Maximillian Kolbe. It is one of the holiest places in Poland. We will also have a guided tour of the Shrine. After the tour we will leave Czestochowa and travel to Warsaw. Dinner and overnight |
